While we continue to maintain our data centers to host some of our IT systems, HPC, and core networking, we utilize cloud services to provide applications and other services for the campus. Services such as Banner, Google Mail (Gmail), Office 365, and EnrollmentRx are all running as Software as a Service (SaaS) in the cloud. We are extending our infrastructure into the cloud starting with Amazon Web Services to make use of automation, infrastructure as code, and provide the necessary agility to support the university strategic plan.
