Join us for the CITL Summer Workshop
The LTS Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning will be holding its yearly Summer Workshop on Tuesday, August 20 and Thursday, August 22, 2024. Please join us to discuss and learn more about topics and tools that will spark innovation in your teaching and curiosity in your students’ learning!
All sessions will be in Zoom.
This year's Summer Workshop will include the following:
Tuesday, August 20
- 9-11am - Hands-on Introduction to Generative AI tools - View recording
Interested in learning more about AI tools? During this online, two-hour session, CITL staff will demonstrate AI tools for text, image, and code generation, while giving participants the opportunity to experiment with AI tools on their own.
- 1-3pm - AI Prompt Engineering - View recording
Learn how to make your prompts for AI image and text generation tools more effective, including examples of prompting frameworks, prompt templates, and other approaches for creating better prompts. This workshop will include hands-on activities and discussions.
Thursday, August 22
- 11am-Noon - Leveraging Media Creation Tools for Student Engagement - View recording
Not sure if students have engaged with your pre-recorded lectures? Want students to come to class prepared so you can focus on more advanced topics? Would you like students to create their own content but don’t know where to start? Join us to learn more about some of the options for leveraging media in your classes. In this session, we will cover three scenarios on how to use media and share some tips and tricks on LTS supported tools. Learn more about how you and your students can create professional looking videos or podcasts in our ready to use “do it yourself” studios.

Join us to learn about the resources available for podcasting at Lehigh. We will discuss the development workflow, including project planning, writing, and producing podcasts. We will also discuss some of the basic guidelines and best practices for creating and grading these types of assignments.
