About the event 

The 2023 CITL Summer Workshop will bring Lehigh faculty together for a conversation on considerations on the use of Generative AI in teaching and learning, followed by two hands-on sessions designed to familiarize faculty with various generative AI tools.

The first session will be fully remote. The subsequent hands-on sessions will take place in the LTS Digital Media Studio computer lab.

Join a discussion facilitated by Dr. Greg Reihman, Vice Provost for Library and Technology Services, on considerations for the impact of Generative AI in teaching and learning in Fall 23 and strategies for making use of AI in the classroom.

Hands-on Use of ChatGPT, DALL-E, and DataCamp - In-person session, no recording

Participate in a hands-on, facilitated session to familiarize yourself with the basic features of AI tools to generate text and images, as well as library resources related to AI. Tools include ChatGPT, DALL-E, and DataCamp. During this session you will work on one of the Digital Media Studio* computers as CITL and Library staff introduce and guide you through basic use of each tool.

Join us in the Digital Media Studio computer lab* for 1:1 consultations with CITL and Library staff on the use of the tools demonstrated earlier (ChatGPT, DALL-E and DataCamp) and how you might consider using them in your teaching and research.
