
Introducing DataCamp at Lehigh
Library and Technology Services is pleased to introduce DataCamp, an online learning platform specializing in teaching data literacy for all skill levels. The platform is free to all faculty, students, and staff. Starting this fall, faculty can integrate DataCamp learning resources into their courses, giving students the opportunity to build and improve their data skills.

Justin Greenlee named new Digital Scholarship Specialist
Library and Technology Services is pleased to announce that Dr. Justin Greenlee has joined the Digital Research and Scholarship team in the Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning, effective July 3. As Digital Scholarship Specialist, Justin will provide support across the university for those integrating digital tools into their research, teaching and learning, or daily work flows, with a focus in the Humanities.
Lehigh’s Director of Writing Across the Curriculum and Co-Founder of the TRAC Fellows Program, Greg Skutches, to retire
At the end of this summer, Greg Skutches will conclude his 17-year career as a champion of peer tutoring in writing at Lehigh. As director of Writing Across the Curriculum and co-founder of the TRAC Fellows Program in the Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning, Skutches has mentored hundreds of peer tutors in writing and advanced writing and communication instruction in courses across the curriculum at Lehigh. His last day of service will be August 31, 2023.

One of the first steps anyone new to Lehigh takes is to open their computer account, necessary to access all university systems and services that require authentication. If you ever had a special request, needed help, or had a question about your password or account, it’s very likely that you connected with Margaret Petrovich.
Changes coming to Google cloud-based storage
Beginning January 8, 2024, Lehigh will be setting quotas on all accounts using Google Workspace (Drive, Photos, and Gmail). We are doing this because Google is no longer offering unlimited storage for universities like Lehigh that use Google Workspace and will instead begin limiting our free storage to a shared finite amount.
Library Access Services Director Sharon Wiles-Young to retire
After a distinguished 31-year career, Director of Library Access Services Sharon Wiles-Young, who oversaw the planning and implementation of open-source library systems FOLIO and OLE, will retire on May 31, 2023. A search committee has been formed to identify her successor.
