The Lehigh Libraries invite you to the Student Library Advisory Board (SLAB) first Fall meeting on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 from 4:30-6:00 p.m. in the Linderman Library Rotunda!
SLAB has advised library staff on developing services, collections, programs, events, and spaces that support Lehigh’s undergraduate students. SLAB participants get insider perspectives into how the Libraries work and are invited to share ideas, insight, and imagination in how the Libraries move forward. The Board also provides students with various professional development opportunities related to libraries and librarianship in higher education. Come learn what we’re all about and consider joining SLAB!
Previously students have developed advertising for library databases and innovative campus-wide ways to inform users of specific, freely-accessible journals, newspapers, and more. Students also held a Book Social to bring together avid readers and provide a setting in which to share their love of books. Have an idea for an event? We want to hear it!
