Proposal: Through a mixture of lectures, small and large group discussions, projects, and presentations, students will learn about interior design history and terminology through teaching their peers. Knightlab, a timeline creation platform, will be used for the semester-long timeline assignment, which ultimately forms a digital online chronological archive of art images categorized by movement and dates. Additionally, there will be two independent projects in which students have free choice in terms of format. Virtual reality will also be explored as a means of visiting historically relevant interiors across the world.
