In January 2023, the Lehigh University Libraries upgraded from MEDLINE Complete to MEDLINE Ultimate, a research database from EBSCOhost that combines the indexing of MEDLINE with cost-effective, full-text access to journals. More than 500 additional titles are now available, including:

You can also find and access these and other electronic journals to which the Libraries’ subscribe from the “E-Journals” tab of the Libraries’ homepage, and directly here. Finally, if you are interested in setting up alerts to any publications, you can contact your librarian for assistance, follow these instructions or use BrowZine to track your favorite titles and be alerted to new articles. Note that with all research databases there can sometimes be delays in posting full-text articles. If that is the case and you need access immediately, please use our free, quick, and easy Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service.

You can access MEDLINE Ultimate by using the Database tab of the search box on the library homepage, browsing the libraries’ A-Z database list, or using this direct link.

The full-text content within MEDLINE Ultimate will also be made discoverable through other library research systems, including via the Lehigh Links functionality in Google Scholar and the Web of Science, the Libraries’ Articles search, and other search interfaces.
