Session Dates & Times

All sessions are 3 hours (9:00 am–Noon).

Module 1: Process Improvement Reimagined: Process & Empathy Mapping Insights

Date: Monday, January 12

This intensive, 3-hour seminar equips you with the complete toolkit to stop fixing symptoms and start solving systemic problems. This workshop will utilize Miro (no experience needed). We'll start with the fundamentals to identify and target inefficiencies and bottlenecks in any process. Then, move beyond traditional mapping to truly understand the end-user's experience. Adopt a human-centered approach to process mapping that identifies key points of frustration and targets the problem areas you will focus on in future sessions.

Module 2: Project Management Kickoff: Define Your Projects, Choose Your Method

Date: Wednesday, January 14

This module bridges your Module 1 insights with practical project execution. Building directly on your process and empathy mapping work, we will focus on translating the symptoms you identified into the root causes that must be addressed. We will cover the core methods for tackling a project, introduce foundational tools like Confluence, and analyze real-world case studies. We cover the core of project lifecycles (Agile vs. Waterfall) so that you can start choosing which practices might work best for you.

Module 3: Project Initiation Charter, Scope, and Stakeholders: Launching Your Project with Clarity

Date: Monday, January 26

We have identified the inefficiencies and are ready to build a solution. We start this session ready to address the root causes identified in Module 2 so come prepared with those details. This intensive session is where your project officially takes flight! You'll master the art of defining a clear scope, setting SMART goals, and building the complete Project Charter using our Confluence templates. We’ll cover critical skills like stakeholder mapping (using Miro) to gain critical buy-in, developing effective communication plans, and anticipating and mitigating risks. Walk away with a vetted, launch-ready plan for your initiative.

Module 4: Project Setup & Execution: Mastering the Work Plan and Leading Your Team to Delivery

Date: Wednesday, January 28

You've planned it, now execute it. This intensive final module focuses on turning your project charter into a functional project plan. You'll learn to break down objectives, set dependencies, and build a working timeline using Jira or Trello. We'll practice the soft skills required for leading change (effective communication, motivation, and conflict resolution). Finally, you'll master KPI tracking and status reporting, walking away with a fully populated project board and dashboard ready for launch.

Can’t make it in January?

We are also offering this series again on the following dates: March 2, 4, 16, and 18. Register for the March series.

Important Notes on Sequence

These four sessions build on each other, and the ideal sequence is to take all four together with the rest of the cohort as you will be working in small groups together throughout the series.

  • If you absolutely must break them up due to scheduling conflicts, we suggest taking Module 1 and 2 together and then 3 to 4 together.
  • You must complete Modules 1 and 2 before attending Modules 3 and 4.
