Library and Technology Services is pleased to announce that Judd Hark has been appointed Director of the LTS Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning (CITL).
Judd brings a wealth of experience to this role, having served as CITL’s Interim Director since January 2025. His previous tenure as Assistant Director of CITL included leadership over several key LTS teams, notably Learning Space Technology and Design, Distance Education, Digital Media, and the LETs Lab.
Starting his career at Lehigh 21 years ago as the sole instructional technologist supporting the faculty of the College of Arts and Sciences, Judd’s knowledge of Lehigh’s technology ecosystem and proven record of partnering with campus stakeholders make him especially well-situated to continue CITL’s commitment of providing excellent support to Lehigh’s faculty and graduate student instructors.
Under Judd’s leadership, we anticipate continued excellence in CITL’s core functions: supporting existing and exploring emerging educational technologies; developing dynamic learning spaces; advancing effective pedagogies and assessment practices through resources including the TRAC Writing Fellows and CITL Faculty Fellows programs; and delivering professional development via consultations, workshops, and the biannual Teaching and Learning Symposium.
To ensure alignment with and advancement of university strategic initiatives, Judd and the CITL will work in close collaboration with the Office of Educational Innovation and Assessment, the Office of Graduate Education & Life, the Deputy Provost for Undergraduate Education, Faculty Senate Leadership, and the five college Deans' Offices.
Further information regarding the valuable work of the CITL is available online at lts.lehigh.edu/citl.
Please join me in congratulating Judd.
Greg Reihman, Ph.D.
Vice Provost for Library and Technology Services
