- Wednesday, July 9, 10AM - 2PM (LETs Lab) – Mystery of the Lehigh Gap Open Play Session
Step into a virtual mystery in this immersive storytelling experience! Travel through time to 1845, 1853, and 1912 in a series of student-created mini-games exploring the Lehigh Gap’s industrial and environmental past, developed by the Lehigh RiVR group. Drop in anytime between 10-2 to play! No registration required.
- Friday, July 18, 1-2 PM (Digital Media Studio) – Creating AI Videos Using Google Veo
Discover how AI tools are transforming video creation—and learn to use Google's new Flow filmmaking tool to maintain consistency and edit! RSVP
- Tuesday, July 29, 1-2 PM (LETs Lab) – Building 3D Worlds
Learn the fundamentals of creating immersive 3D worlds using FrameVR, a free to use web-based platform. No prior experience required! This is a bring your own laptop event. RSVP
- Thursday, August 7, 1-2 PM (Digital Media Studio) – Introduction to Drones
Take to the skies and get started with understanding the basics of drone technology. After this session you’ll be equipped with the tools you’ll need to take the TRUST exam for certification in recreational flying. RSVP
- Tuesday, August 12, 1-3 PM (LETs Lab) – Making Games from Scratch
Interested in creating your own game? Learn about some easy to use tools to start creating your own video or board game. We'll discuss using games for learning before having an open workshop to start creating! No prior experience required. This is a bring your own device event. RSVP
All sessions will be held in either the LETs Lab or Digital Media Studio in Fairchild-Martindale Library (across from The Grind) and are open to the entire Lehigh community. Light refreshments will be provided.
No experience is necessary—just bring your curiosity and a willingness to experiment. We can’t wait to see what you’ll create, explore, and imagine this summer.
