Course: Special Topics in Writing: Writing with AI
Proposal: This new course examines the relationship between humans and machines through genre-based writing. Students will participate in experiential learning by training their own personal AI chatbots using "one-shot training" techniques. The fellowship focuses on "Generative AI as a Pedagogical Tool" and “Writing Across the Curriculum,” with CITL providing support on scaffolded learning design and the assessment of AI-assisted student work while exploring student sentiment regarding AI authorship.
