Course: Seeing Words, Reading Images: The ‘Three Perfections’ in China
Student Enrollment: 19
Proposal: This course explores the heart of Chinese culture through the "Three Perfections": poetry, calligraphy, and painting. To bridge the gap between these ancient art forms and modern student experiences, the fellowship focuses on game-based and immersive learning. Planned innovations include a poetry composition game, calligraphy and painting workshops led by external professionals, and a visit to the university gallery. CITL will support the redesign of the syllabus, the creation of clear learning objectives, and the development of high-engagement activities to deepen student understanding.
CITL/I&O Collaborators: Justin D'Orazio and Chris Harvey
