Course: DES 173 - Special Topics in User Experience Design (UX/UI)
Student Enrollment: 13
Proposal:
This User Experience (UX) Design course offers a comprehensive introduction to UX principles, UI design, accessibility, and usability. The goal is to rework the course’s second, group accessibility project through shifting from hypothetical scenarios to real-world problem-solving, with students identifying and solving specific accessibility challenges at the Lehigh University Art Galleries (LUAG). The collaboration with LUAG will allow students to develop team skills in addition to implementable UX/UI solutions while engaging in direct user research, providing a more realistic and impactful learning experience. The instructor seeks CITL's support in structuring this inquiry-based project and potentially realizing student-proposed technological solutions.
CITL/I&O Collaborators: Tarah Cicero and Allen Kingsbury
