Access Services is comprised of the Library Technical Services Team and the Library Lending Team. These two teams provide services for acquisitions, cataloging and metadata, serials and electronic management, government documents, circulation, media circulation, document delivery and Inter-library loan. These teams offer services in three buildings; Linderman and Fairchild-Martindale Library and the Library Materials Center, the libraries storage facility located in Building J at the Mountain Top campus.Currently both teams are very involved in the open source, Mellon and EBSCO funded development of a Library Services Platform (LSP) called the FOLIO project. The Libraries successfully migrated from OLE  to the FOLIO LSP on August 14, 2020 and migrated to Project ReShare on August 2021. The libraries are open source risk takers and a good example of this is Lehigh was one of the first libraries to commit to implementing OLE and went into production in the summer of 2014 . I am very proud to be a member of the Lehigh teams who came together to implement FOLIO during the pandemic. The teams continue to innovate with FOLIO and Project ReShare and we look forward to offering new metadata, acquisitions, ILL and Circulation services in the libraries. Some current projects our library teams are working on is providing more access to the Libraries every expanding electronic and digital collections, working with EAST and PALCI on cooperative collection initiatives and examining the libraries' ILL services and Acquisition services to discover new ways to provide rapid service and to shift some of the libraries collection philosophies to better support Faculty, Staff and Students and our communities.
