The LTS College of Arts and Sciences Support Team assists faculty, staff, and students with desktop and network computing, laboratory computing systems, instructional technology, and library research needs. The Client Services consultants and librarians offer the following services:
Computing Consultants
- assist faculty, staff, and students with computer hardware and software selection
- configure networked desktop and laboratory computers (including upgrades and troubleshooting)
- configure peripherals and mobile devices (and any related problem resolution)
- offer personalized training and seminars on a variety of technology topics
Instructional Technologists
- help faculty and staff integrate instructional technology into the curriculum
- provide consulting, training, and support services to faculty and staff
- develop learning resources
Librarians
- are subject specialists who support faculty and student research in the Arts and Humanities, Math and Natural Sciences, and the Social Sciences
- work closely with faculty to develop the Libraries' print and electronic collections in support of curricular and research needs
- offer information literacy instruction and provide guidance in the critical evaluation of resources
- meet with faculty and students for individual research consultations
