The 2025 Symposium on Teaching and Learning will take place on Tuesday, April 8, from 8:30AM-2PM in Fairchild-Martindale Library (6th floor south).

Come hear from Lehigh professors about the ways their teaching engages and challenges students, the ways that technology can deepen learning, and how to enhance the value of student projects.

2025 Symposium Schedule:

8:30am-9:00am: Light breakfast

9:00am-11:00am: Three Faculty Fellow panels (40 minutes each)

  • Explorations in Inquiry-based Learning: Fostering student engagement and critical thinking skill development
  • XR as a Pedagogical Tool: Examining XR’s impact on teaching, learning, and engagement
  • Teaching with (or without) AI: Navigating the possibilities and challenges of AI as a pedagogical tool

11:00am-12:00pm: Student work exhibition and Q&A with panelists

12:00pm-2:00pm: Lunch for all attendees, with opportunities for you to engage with panelists, colleagues, students, and CITL staff to learn about and share ideas on teaching innovations
