Director of Library Access Services for the Lehigh Libraries. What is Library Access Services? Access Services is comprised of the Library Technical Services Team and the Library Lending Team. These two teams provide services for acquisitions, cataloging and metadata, serials and electronic management, government documents, circulation, media circulation, document delivery and Inter-library loan. These teams offer services in three buildings; Linderman and Fairchild-Martindale Library and the Library Materials Center, the libraries storage facility located in Building J at the Mountain Top campus.Currently both teams are very involved in the open source, Mellon and EBSCO funded development of an Integrated Library Platform called the FOLIO project. The Libraries successfully implemented OLE on July of 2014 and are currently working on the OLE software to manage the library functions. The ERM functionality was not developed in the OLE project and the Lehigh Libraries is using CORAL, the open source ERM software. As FOLIO development takes place Lehigh Libraries will migrate to the new and exciting library platform. The Lehigh Libraries remain committed to open source and see the possiblities available in the FOLIO project. The Librarians are very involved in every aspect of the FOLIO project.
