The Center for Innovation in Teaching & Learning maintains two HTC Vive systems for virtual reality, or VR, exploration. The Vive is designed to utilize room-scale technology to turn a room into a 3D "virtual world" space. The VR headset allows the user to navigate naturally, with the ability to walk around and use motion tracked handheld controllers to vividly manipulate objects, interact with precision, communicate and experience immersive environments. Faculty interested in utilizing the Vive within a course for teaching or research purposes should contact their Instructional Technologist.
