Omnimusic Music Collection Instructions

Services:

by Allen Kingsbury

At the Lehigh University Digital Media Studio we license audio from the Omnimusic Collection for use with class projects.
The ability to download files from the website is restricted to the IP addresses of the Mac computers in the lab.
You can credit the use of the omnimusic track in your credits as the name of the song along with omnimusic.com although it is not necessary.

1
Action:

Go to the omnimusic website from the DMS Mac lab. www.omnimusic.com

Action:

Preview a track from the list and click the "Add" button to the right to add it to your music list.
I would recommend downloading tracks right away. If you close the browser you will lose your saved track history.

Action:

Click on the "My Music List" tab.
And left click on either the .mp3 or .wav version of the song to save it.

The .wav is recommended for the highest quality.

*It's best to download the file to your external hard drive and import it into your editing software from there.
