Configure Lehigh Email for Android Devices

These instructions are for configuring traditional Lehigh mail (not Gmail) on Android devices. Images shown are from version 4.4. Your settings might look slightly different depending on what version of Android OS is currently installed.

From the Home screen on your device, tap Gmail, then tap Menu.

Tap Settings.

Tap Add account.

Tap Personal (IMAP/POP), then tap OK.

Enter your full Lehigh email address and tap Next.

Choose Personal (IMAP).

When prompted, sign in with your Lehigh password and tap Next.

Remove @lehigh.edu from the username field.
Enter mail.lehigh.edu in the server field.
Enter 993 in the port field.
Finally, select SSL/TLS as the security type.
Tap Next.

Enter mail.lehigh.edu in the SMTP server field.
Enter 587 in the Port field.
Choose STARTTLS for Security Type.
Remove @lehigh.edu from the Username field.
Tap Next.

You can change any of these options based on your personal preference.
