A podcast is an episodic program delivered via the Internet using an XML protocol called RSS. Podcast episodes can be audio files, video files, documents, or any combination of the three.

Jing- A free screen capture tool that will allow you to record five minutes for free. It is also a great application for doing screenshots that you want to annotate. If you pay the nominal fee, you can "go pro" and this will allow you to upload more files to screencast and to have the ability export files in mp4 format. http://www.techsmith.com/jing.html
