  • www.lehigh.edu/google - Lehigh Google Apps for Education. Lehigh has standardized on Google Calendar, Gmail and Docs as a primary shared workspace for collaboration. “Unlimited” storage.
  • MS Office 365 - http://lts.lehigh.edu/services/office-365 (opt-in, need to request account)
    • Download Office on up to 5 personally-owned computers and 5 mobile devices
    • Do not download for Lehigh-owned Windows PCs, which get Office via standard image.
    • 1TB of Lehigh OneDrive storage

  • Public Site Computer Labs (500+ PCs at sites throughout campus)
    • Windows 10-64bit Enterprise, MS Office, Firefox, IE, Chrome, MobaXterm, VLC, Matlab
    • Additional software can be installed using the “Install Software” link on desktop
    • When the computer powers on, you will briefly have the option to completely restore the computer. Use caution when choosing this option as it will remove any software that was installed after the base image.
    • Mac computers are located in the Digital Media Studio, Wilbur Powerhouse and a few other sites.
  • LUApps virtual application environment - https://go.lehigh.edu/luapps, requires Citrix Workspace client.

    Similar software to LTS public site PC labs. Requires VPN from off-campus.
  • VPN - http://vpn.lehigh.edu, requires the Cisco AnyConnect client. 
    Some campus resources are blocked from off-campus access unless you first launch the VPN (virtual private network.) Documentation http://lts.lehigh.edu/services/vpn
  • Reserved hostnames: Faculty and staff may request a reserved hostname (e.g. abc123.mat.lehigh.edu) for any device connected to a department network via LAN cable (but not via wireless.) All devices must use DHCP, so IP addresses are subject to change. Limited to on-campus use, unless special circumstance warrants a firewall exception (requests are scrutinized regularly.)
  • File Storage and Sharing
  • Full Disk Encryption (FDE) - recommended for all computers, protects sensitive data from loss/theft

    • FileVault2 for Mac OS X  (automatic for managed Macs in Jamf MDM)
