Note: At the present time, Cisco Spark is only available to LTS. LTS is working towards general availability for the fall semester.
Cisco Spark provides everything teams need to message, communicate, share, and collaborate. Cisco Spark is available for all student, faculty, and staff at no charge. Various platforms are supported such as Windows, Mac OS, iOS and Android devices. When paired with a Cisco Spark Board, teams can collaborate by using the touch screen or projecting screens to the Cisco Spark Board. More information can be found at Cisco Spark.
Installing the Cisco Spark Client
Cisco Spark client is supported on Windows, Mac OS, iOS, Android or directly in the browser.
Windows and Mac OS Clients are available at Cisco Spark.
iOS and Android devices can install the client from their respective app stores.
Direct web access is available at https://web.ciscospark.com
After installing the client, you sign into Cisco Spark using your Lehigh University Credentials.
Sharing your screen with Cisco Spark Board
To share you screen with the Spark Board, launch in the Spark Client and clicking on the Wireless Share button at the right corner of the client which is located next to the search button. If it’s your first time for that room, the client will pair your device with the board.
Next, select the device you want to connect with and click on the purple Screen Share button.
Stop Sharing your screen
To end sharing, simply click on Stop at the top of your screen
Go back to the client and click Stop Sharing
Sharing your screen without the Spark client
In some cases, you might not have access to the a client, such as a vendor visit. There is an HDMI cable that can be connected to a laptop for screen sharing without the client. Connect the HDMI cable to our laptop and change your display settings as you would with any other monitor connection to display the content. No Spark client is required if you are using the HDMI cable.
