Advanced Lighting (Videos)

Here are some very useful YouTube videos that discuss advanced lighting principles.

1) Cinematic Lighting Techniques:

Connect to the Lehigh Network with Cisco AnyConnect on macOS

After downloading and installing the Cisco AnyConnect client software for your device, as described on the VPN service page, you'll need to configure it and create a connection in order to begin accessing services that are inside Lehigh's network firewall.

Desktop and Mobile Device Data Encryption (DRAFT)

1.0 Objective:

At Lehigh University information is a valuable asset and must be protected from unauthorized disclosure, modification, or destruction. Prudent information security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures must be implemented to ensure not only the safety and security of those within our community, but also ensure that the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information and associated services are not compromised, and the academic and business missions of the University can safely and successfully be maintained.

Research Data: Recommended Tools

One of the hallmarks of Lehigh University is its strong emphasis on the value of front-line research in the learning process. Along with that comes the work of maintaining and sharing large amounts of research information between the faculty and their students. LTS provides a number of tools to assist research groups with data storage and collaboration. Below is a list of some of the most powerful ones for assisting all researchers.

Re-Set File Access Permission in the Citrix Receiver (macOS)

The LUapps system uses the Citrix Receiver client to deliver software to Lehigh users, and the program's access to files on the client computer can be changed depending on the user's preference. The following steps allow users to set this on the macOS version of the client.

Frequently Asked Questions about Using LUapps (Citrix)

The LUapps software virtualization system can be a bit complex to understand and use effectively. Below are a few answers to questions you may encounter when using the system.

Upload a Citrix File to Course Site

These instructions walk users through the process of transferring a file created in LUapps to Course Site. There are a number of ways to accomplish this, but to specifically assist off-campus students, we'll use the following method: 1) save the file to your computer's desktop, and then 2) upload it to Course Site from there using a browser on your computer.

Open and Save Files in the Citrix Environment (LUapps)

When you connect to LUapps using the Citrix Receiver client, you connect to a particular application running on a virtual machine on a server in the Computing Center. That kind of an arrangement brings up important questions like: 'How can I open the files I want to work on?' and 'Where do they get saved when I'm done?'. The answer depends partly on the kind of device you're connecting with. Refer to the annotated screenshot below:
