Microsoft Software for Work at Home Use (faculty/staff)

Lehigh University has an agreement with Microsoft Corporation which permits all Lehigh University faculty and staff to use popular Microsoft software on their work computers. The software may also be used off-campus on Lehigh's virtual public site. Installation on a faculty or staff personally-owned computer is permitted only for Lehigh-related work at home use.

Obtaining Microsoft software for Faculty and Staff Work at Home Use

Microsoft software DVDs may be purchased at the LU Bookstore for $15.00 per title, limit one DVD per title. Note: Microsoft Office is limited to one DVD of either the Windows or Macintosh version, not both.

When purchasing Microsoft software, a valid Lehigh ID must be presented and the Microsoft Work At Home Acceptance Form must be signed.

Installation and use of the Microsoft work at home software indicates that the faculty or staff member has read and agreed to comply with the terms and conditions of Lehigh University's Microsoft Campus Agreement as described in the Microsoft Work At Home Acceptance Form

Microsoft Office for Windows
includes: Word (word processor), Excel (spreadsheet), PowerPoint (presentation graphics), Publisher (desktop publishing), Access (database), OneNote (information organizer)

Microsoft Office for Macintosh
includes: Word (word processor), Excel (spreadsheet), PowerPoint (presentation graphics)

Windows Operating System Upgrade
Operating system upgrade - can be used for one installation on a personally-owned computer currently using Windows or Macintosh OS

Diagramming and flowcharting software
